The Linden area
is considered to be central Ohio’s first suburb.
It was developed with a grant from President Adams for
Revolutionary Soldiers. Over the past decade, several
initiatives have been undertaken to improve the Greater
Linden Area including the $10 million reconstruction of
Cleveland Avenue. In addition, several businesses have
moved into the area, such as Columbus Metropolitan Housing
Authority (CMHA) and the Central Ohio Transit Authority
(COTA). |
