Since its inception
in 2003, CPO has visibly been transforming buildings,
rebuilding lives, and reshaping
the future of our CPO residents. The work that is done
through CPO is not only a result of the hard work of our
staff members, but also the hard work of partnering organizations.
CPO has partnered with a number of organizations who have
deep roots in our communities.
A partial list of our significant partners includes:
• United Way of Central Ohio
• Central Community House
• Godman Guild Youth
• Community in Schools
• Community Housing Partnership
• Africentric Personal Development Shop
• Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church
• YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association)
• Neighborhood Services, Inc.
• Lutheran Social Services
• Neighborhood Association
• YWCA (Young Women's Christian Association).

In collaboration with Columbus Housing Partnerships and
Americorps, CPO residents are hired as Neighborhood Advocates
to focus on increasing safety and community involvement
in our neighborhoods. Projects include trash pick-up,
beautification, neighborhood clean-up, weatherization
preparation, welcome wagons, and other community projects. |
