CPO is
redefining the way inner-city property management companies
do business.
Through the partnership and commitment of our investors,
CPO implemented a nine-phase redevelopment plan committing
approximately $50,000 to each unit in the portfolio. Driven
by the desire to connect residents to an integrated network
of supportive service providers in the community and offer
programs where none existed before, CPO has secured funding
from organizations like United Way and Nationwide Insurance
to create opportunities for families and children to get
connected and get results. Concerned about the criminal
element in our neighborhoods, CPO has partnered with the
Columbus Police Department and the Department of Safety
and other civic groups to implement a program designed
to eliminate criminal activity and empower residents to
build safe communities. This program, "Eliminate the Elements", has allowed CPO to
hire off-duty police officers to work special duty and
patrol CPO and neighboring communities in a CPO police
cruiser leased from the city.
CPO’s unique community-based management approach
facilitates the best thinking of key partners in creating
a national model of stabilized family housing.
